The main steps of medical mould tryout

By controlling and adjusting various processing conditions, finding the best temperature and pressure conditions, and developing a standard mold trial procedure and establishing a daily working method, we can avoid time waste and trouble during production. The following describes the main steps of injection mold mold trial:

1. Check whether the plastic material in the cylinder is correct, and whether it is baked according to the regulations.


2. Clean up the material tube to prevent poorly dissolved rubber or miscellaneous materials from being injected into the mold, because poorly dissolved rubber and miscellaneous materials may jam the mold. Check whether the temperature of the material pipe and the temperature of the mold are suitable for the processed material.


3. Adjust the mold filling pressure and injection volume to produce finished products with satisfactory appearance. When the finished products in some cavities are not yet fully solidified, you should think about it before adjusting the various control conditions because a slight change in the mold filling rate may cause a big change in the mold filling.


4. Patiently wait until the machine and mold conditions stabilize, even for medium-sized machines it may take more than 30 minutes. This time can be used to check the finished product for possible problems.


5. Screw advance time should not be shorter than the gate plastic solidification time, otherwise the weight of the finished product will be reduced and damage its performance of the finished product, when the mold is heated when the screw needs to be discretionary to extend the advance in order to compact the finished product.


6. Reasonable adjustment to shorten the total processing cycle.


7. The newly adjusted conditions at least 30 minutes of operation to stabilize, and then at least one dozen continuous production of the whole sample, in its container marked with the date, the number of mold cavities are placed in order to test the stability of its operation and derive a reasonable control tolerances.


8. Measure and record the significant dimensions of successive samples (this should be done when the samples have cooled to room temperature).


9. The size of each mold product measurements for a comparison, it should be noted: product size is stable; whether some of the dimensions have a tendency to increase or decrease and show that the machine processing conditions are still changing, such as poor temperature control or oil pressure control; size of the changes in the tolerance range.


10. If there is no change in the size of the finished product and the processing conditions are normal, it is necessary to observe whether the quality of the finished product of each mold cavity is acceptable and the size of the product can be within the allowable tolerance. Make a note of the number of consecutive holes that are larger or smaller than the average, so that you can check whether the mold dimensions are correct.
