Select Appropriate Equipment and Scientific Design
Choose suitable professional injection molding machines and ensure a reasonable and efficient design plan. After selecting the injection molding machine, carefully inspect details such as injection volume, reasonable spacing of support rods, upper mold installation specifications, mold thickness (including minimum thickness), template travel settings, lower mold methods, and verified mold travel, injection pressure, and locking material volume. Clear and reasonable processing standards are key to ensuring the suitability of injection molding.
Test Run with Empty Mold, Detailed Inspection
After installing medical mold parts on the injection molding machine, the first step is to perform an empty mold operation. This process aims to verify the flexibility and absence of abnormalities in various parts of the medical mold, the appropriateness of the mold ejection stroke, the consistency of the mold surface during mold closure, and the tightness of pin screws.
Store at Room Temperature, Extend Lifespan
When using injection molding, it should be stored at room temperature to prolong the service life of medical mold components.
Meticulous Maintenance of Rolling Components
Rolling components in medical molds, such as locating pins, return pins, swing rods, and cores, need to be inspected at any time and maintained regularly. They should be cleaned and coated with vegetable oil periodically. Especially in summer, if the oil temperature is high, at least two types of lubricating oil should be added per shift to ensure the smooth operation of these rolling components and prevent jamming.
Clean Before Mold Closure, Handle with Care
Before each mold closure, it is essential to check if the box is clean and free from residues or other impurities. When cleaning, avoid using hard tools to prevent scratching the inner surface, maintaining the integrity and precision of the equipment.
Through the above measures, the maintenance efficiency of medical injection molding equipment can be effectively improved to ensure its stable operation and prolong its service life, thus guaranteeing the quality and safety of medical products.
